Baxter Dury returns with his highly anticipated tenth studio album, Allbarone, produced by Grammy-winning hitmaker Paul Epworth (Adele, Florence & The Machine). The collaboration was sparked after a backstage meeting at Glastonbury 2024. Together they dreamt up Allbarone’s nine-track tour-de-force, stripping everything away and building Baxter’s most melodically direct, futuristic collection. Crafted during intense three-hour daily sessions at Epworth’s Church Studios in North London, the project marks another bold reinvention for Dury. “It doesn’t sound like a band made it… It’s just something that’s brand new for me.”

The three artists got together and recorded the #11 chart hit album "The Souther Hillman Furay Band" in 1974 on the relatively new L.A. based Asylum Records label. With production from Richie Podolor (Steppenwolf/Alice Cooper/Three Dog Night), the album would deliver several rock radio hits like "Safe At Home" "Border Town" and the hit single "Fallin' In Love." The powerful band consisted of the three principles along with Jim Gordon on drums (Derek & The Dominos), Al Perkins on steel guitar/guitars (Flying Burrito Brothers, Manassas) , Paul Harris (Manassas/B.B. King) and Joe Lala (Crosby, Stills & Nash/Dan Fogelberg). More brilliance would be found within thanks to the songwriting skills of all three artists with tunes like Souther's stellar ballad "Deep, Dark and Dreamless" Hillman's classic "Heavenly Fire" and Furay's stunning "Believe Me." Friday Music is very pleased to announce the first-time ever Clear Blue Vinyl -50th Anniversary Edition of "The Souther Hillman Furay Band." Five original studio albums, recorded in New York City across one week in August 1965: Boppin', Smokin', Groovin', Comin' On, Cool Burnin' are being made available on vinyl for the first time in over 50-years. Representing a critical moment in his career, Chet Baker hooked up with a superlative band for these recordings: George Coleman; Kirk Lightsey; Herman Wright and Roy Brooks play throughout on these thrilling sets, which were originally issued by Prestige Recordings. New Land has gained full access to the original analog mono tapes, and Kevin Gray has remastered and cut (AAA), giving them fresh sonic detail. At the centre of this package is a book featuring an incredibly detailed essay by GRAMMYr award nominee James Gavin which intertwines the true story behind these recordings with interviews from those who were involved. Illustrated with rare photographs and ephemera, this is the deepest dive into these recordings to date. These aren't just "late-era" Chet recordings - they're a document of reinvention. For collectors, this fills a crucial gap between his iconic 1950s cool jazz era and his darker 1970s European sessions.

Loved, Parcels' third album, is exuberant and euphoric, but also reflective. It’s an album of unity – with each other, with the listeners, in the grooves – and that’s indisputable. “We do have a purpose as a band to our audience: we're giving people joy,” says guitarist/vocalist Jules Crommelin. “I see it as spirit, and it’s an incredibly powerful thing.” Includes “Safeandsound,” and “Yougotmefeeling.”

LORNA SHORE has scaled unexpected heights, played to the biggest crowds of their career and literally walked through fire to arrive at I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me. This New Jersey quintet’s latest album picks up where they left off on the now classic Pain Remains. While the album’s first single, “Oblivion” is classic LORNA SHORE, it’s with the likes of the anthemic “Unbreakable”, the pathos-driven “Glenwood” or the triumphant guitar melodies of “Lionheart” that you can hear the sound of extreme metal pushing through its own boundaries, informed by topping huge festivals and bashing through arenas with the likes of Gojira and Mastodon. LORNA SHORE’s ascent has been nothing short of breathtaking and I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me is nothing short of their career defining album.

Following the release of Antibloom, Silverstein returns with Pink Moon: the second chapter in their ambitious 16-song double album, conceived and recorded during a transformative stretch in the high desert of Joshua Tree. Born from the same sessions as Antibloom, the songs on Pink Moon were sequenced with intention, offering a distinct yet complementary listening experience. Known for their meticulous attention to flow and emotional pacing, the band crafted both halves to stand on their own while also telling a broader, interconnected story, one that ebbs and crashes like the desert winds that shaped it.

Pink Moon features the only guest appearances on the project, with stunning contributions from Cassadee Pope and Rory Rodriguez of Dayseeker - voices chosen mid-process when the band sensed the need to push certain songs into new sonic territory. The result is a bold and diverse body of work that expands Silverstein's dynamic range while staying true to their emotional core. By releasing the project in two halves, the band has given every song the room to breathe, resonate, and evolve: a fitting strategy for a year packed with touring, celebration, and reflection. The moon has risen. The story continues.

Now, she takes full creative control with a record that’s emotionally feral and sonically fearless.
